Invisalign treatment is painless. The first few days it may feel a little tight, but after a few days you will no longer notice it.
How long do you have to wear Invisalign?
On average, treatment takes 3 to 8 months.
What should you pay attention to when wearing Invisalign?
Smoking can harm the health of your gums and also discolour the aligners. Also make sure you only drink water while wearing the aligners. Tea, coffee and soft drinks can cause discolouration, so it is advisable to take them out.
How do you clean Invisalign aligners?
You can easily clean the aligners under the tap with water and a toothbrush. Do not use toothpaste, however; it is abrasive and makes the aligners dull, and therefore less invisible. To keep the aligners clean, it is also important to brush your teeth after eating before putting them back in.
